I graduated from Osaka University with my MSc degree in information science and technology in 2013. Through my last year of undergrad and master course, I was studying evolutionary biology under Professor Tetsuya Yomo. In the second year of my master course, I also worked as a visiting researcher at Harvard Medical School under Professor Roy Kishony, after being awarded a place in the grad school research program. Besides my PhD research, I’m interested in public communication of science. I’d like to gain experience on my own through my PhD in UK, and I'd like to help out the public engagement of science in my home country in the near future.
