Dr. Yousef Abul-Haija

Post Doctoral Researcher
I completed a BSc (2006) and a MSc (2009) in Applied Chemistry at Jordan University of Science and Technology. During this period, I worked on developing polymer-based materials through means of copolymerisation and crosslinking. After then, I worked in a pharmaceutical company for two years before I join Prof. Rein Ulijn research group (2012) at the University of Strathclyde to work towards a PhD on dynamic supramolecular hydrogels with adaptive biological functionality and then as a postdoctoral research associate for one year. In 2016, I have joined the Cronin research group to study peptide synthesis and peptide-based materials in the artificial cell and origin of life context.
