Dr. Artem Leonov

Post Doctoral Researcher

I obtained a Diploma in Chemical Engineering in Moscow at Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in 2013. Later on I’ve moved to LMU Munich to do my PhD in the group of Dr. Armin Ofial on Physical Organic Chemistry. My research projects were focused on kinetic and mechanistic studies of carbon-nucleophiles such as Grignard reagents, carbanions, enol ethers and enamines for further development of the reactivity scale. I joined the group of Prof. Lee Cronin in October 2018 to work on the automatic synthetic platform and implement kinetic analysis for reaction optimization.

Outside the lab I enjoy travelling, photography and movies.
