Dr. Diana Castro

Technician

I have a PhD from the University of Edinburgh in Fluorescence Spectroscopy of Organic Dyes and a BSc in Chemistry from the “Universidad Nacional” in Bogota- Colombia.

I have been working with the University of Glasgow as a lab technician for two years and previously with the University of Edinburgh as a research assistant in the development of decontamination methods, based on RF gas-plasma chemistry. I spent two years at the University of Dundee in the Division of Signal Transduction Therapy working in Antibody Affinity Purification and characterization.

I have many years of experience in the Industry working with Dow Chemical within their Polymers and resins Department developing and implementing new applications.
