Dr.
Elena Klimareva
Post Doctoral Researcher
I obtained my MSci (Chemical Technology and Polymer Chemistry) from Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg, Russia) in 2014.
In 2022 I received a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry from Ural Federal University where I worked in the group of Prof. Yuri Yu. Morzherin and Prof. G.V. Zyryanov on the synthesis of π-functional conjugated systems as materials for organic electronic applications (particularly, based on thiophene and other aromatic/heteroaromatic building blocks).
During my PhD studies, I also worked alongside Professor I. F. Perepichka (School of Chemistry, Bangor University, UK) on the synthesis and characterization of flat conjugated thiophene-based oligomers and polymers as well as on other heterocyclic systems.
In 2022 I joined The Cronin group as a postdoctoral research associate and currently I’m working in the Chemputer team on automatization of organic synthesis.
