I obtained my Masters Degree at the University of Bern, Switzerland (2015). Then I joined the research group of Prof. John A. Murphy at the University of Strathclyde where I completed my PhD in 2019. My work focussed on method development in the field of radical chemistry and on gaining detailed mechanistic understanding of complex reaction systems. The experimental work was complemented by computational studies using DFT and high-level wave-function based methods. In the Cronin Group I strive to preform complex multistep syntheses with a fully automated set-up.

In my free time I train in meditation and also enjoy cycling, running, swimming, climbing and hiking.
