In 2013, I obtained my PhD in Organic Chemistry at Southwest University, Chong Qing, China. During this time, my projects were related to the organocatalysis multicomponent cascade reaction. After that I continued working as a post-doctor in the same group for 2013~2015.

In Summer 2015, I left the academia and served as a chemical engineer in a pharmaceutical company. At there, my job responsibility was to synthesize the pharmaceutical intermediate and API, which included the route investigation, process development & optimization, impurity profile, pilot and production.

In Summer 2018, I joined the Cronin group as a postdoctoral research associate at the university of Glasgow where I’m working in the area of automatic organic synthesis.
