Accommodation and meals

Accommodation and meals: will be provided at Fusehill Campus, University of Cumbria, Carlisle beginning with lunch on Wednesday 31st August and finishing with lunch on Friday 2nd September. Special meals can be provided and should be requested on the registration form.

Registration and scientific sessions: will take place in the Learning Gateway (Building 8 on the Fusehill Campus map).

Meals: will be taken in Skiddaw dining room (Building 10). Wednesday evening will be a BBQ meal in the Calva Bar (4)and Thursday evening will be the conference dinner in the Skiddaw dining room. Entertainment will follow in the Calva Bar.

Anyone arriving when the registration desk in the Learning Gateway Foyer is unmanned can obtain their room keys from the Main Reception (1) until 18:00 or the Porters lodge (2) at other times. NB There is a £25 lost keys charge!

Car parking: There is pay and display parking on campus and guests must ensure they park in the pay and display areas (not the permit holder bays - these are clearly signposted).  Tickets must be displayed between the hours of 8am and 6pm but are not required overnight.  Please be aware that the wardens do patrol the site and can be on campus at 8am.

Internet access: A group login will be available to you, details provided on arrival.
