Royal Society of Chemistry - Thermal Methods Group - TAC 2007

Glasgow, 3-4 April 2007

Introduction

"Thermal methods are rising to the challenges of the post genomic era and the world of nanotechnology as well remaining key techniques in more established fields. This is a period of great change in both instrumentation and applications and the best way to keep abreast of events is to attend meetings like TAC where leading figures will not only be giving talks but will also be available for discussions. TAC 2007 will be an important event that should benefit everyone with an interest in thermal methods in the UK and beyond." - Mike Reading (Hon. Chairman - RSC Thermal Methods Group)

Outline Programme

Section A: Pharmaceutical applications, general topics and new developments
                    Keynote speaker:
Professor Duncan Craig (UEA) - tba

Section B: Thermal methods in catalysis and materials chemistry
