Area Detectors

This menu item deals with thedata file from area detector diffractometers, primarily KappaCCD/SMART.

Process data - A GUI driven utility allowing processing of KappaCCD files and a GUI for SORTAV. At present only post-processing of integrated data (Denzo or EvalCCD) is available. A number of options are offered, from a straight-forward importing of the Denzo-Scalepack files to more extensive external processing.
Import SMART/SADABS - A utility to import SMART RAW files or SADABS input/output reflection files for processing with SORTAV.
KCD ImageTool - this utility allows users to visualize the uncompressed image files from the KappaCCD (the .kcd files). These files have an ASCII header and a binary image format. This program is particularly useful if the Denzo integration files (.x files) are also present in the same directory. A screen shot of this utility is shown below.
