My GNU/Linux screen occasionally looks something like this... (usually a lot less cluttered)...

I am running WindowMaker for the window manager, The GIMP to manipulate the images and XEmacs for everything else except an xterm (both the last 2 have the asthetically pleasing (IMHO) neXtaw widgets.
