Dr. Daniel (Dani) Gonzalez Santamaria

Affiliated Member

I graduated in Environmental Sciences in 2015 from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid where I did my thesis which focused on the study of clays as barrier materials for the isolation of radioactive waste. I also collaborated in the study of the capacity of clay minerals to adsorb emerging contaminants such as antibiotics and PAHs. As soon as I finished my thesis, I turned my interest towards the role of clays in the origin of life, which led me to the Cronin Group.

In my spare time, I really enjoy doing road cycling and sharing time with my friends and family.
