I completed an integrated Masters degree in Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. During which I spent a year as an intern in the groups of Dr. Marcel Hollenstein (Institut Pasteur) and Dr. Gilles Gasser (Chimie ParisTech) synthesising Ruthenium-based aptamers for use in photodynamic therapy.
I started working in the Cronin group during the final year of my degree investigating enzymatic function in amino acid and metal salt dehydration cycles. I will start my PhD in October 2019 as part of the Artificial Life team.
