Jason Archdeacon

Undergraduate Student

I am a Msci student at the University of Glasgow and will work with the Cronin group on my final year project. I was born in Philadelphia, USA, and have spent much of my life in Cork, Ireland. However, I was mainly raised in Glasgow. I am very excited to work on developing hybrid inorganic-organic architectures during my time here. I have worked previously on novel kinase inhibitors in my time working at Charles University in Prague with Michal Hocek, in association with IOCB (Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry). My main interests relating to chemistry are developing medicines by means of organic and inorganic synthesis.

Aside from this, I enjoy playing and watching American football and rugby. I am very into music - playing, singing, or appreciating.
