Dr.
Oleg Borodin
Post Doctoral Researcher
I obtained BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine). Another MSc degree in Chemistry (as a part of a double degree program) I obtained at Côte d’Azur University (France). In 2017 – 2022, I did my PhD in the research group of Prof. Max von Delius at Ulm University (Germany). My research focused on the synthesis of functional supramolecular architectures using dynamic covalent exchange and host-guest assembly. In summer 2022, I joined the Cronin group to develop universal automated platforms for organic synthesis (e.g., Chemputer) as well as to explore complex chemical systems using AI-assisted closed-loop experimentation. Besides research, I enjoy active lifestyle (running, cycling, hiking, swimming, skiing, etc.), reading, and spending time with friends.
