I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the Sichuan University (China) in 2009 and then was recommended to the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) for master’s study in the area of energy electrochemistry. After that, I was fully sponsored for a Ph.D. in the University College London (UCL) in Prof. Zhengxiao Guo’s group from Sept. 2014 to Jan. 2019. My Ph.D. project is related to transition metal oxides/hydroxides on carbon-based (CNTs and graphene) materials for oxygen electrocatalysis (ORR, OER). In summer 2019, I joined Prof. Cronin’s Group as a postdoctoral researcher focusing on energy and self-assembly based on Polyoxometalates (POMs).
Outside of work, I like visiting galleries, go hiking, watching movies and playing board games.
