Yanbin Zhang
Post Doctoral Researcher
I was born in Jilin, China, and obtained my BSc and PhD from Fudan University, where I was trained in organic synthesis and photocatalysis. I then undertook postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore (NUS), during which my research focus shifted toward automation and emerging technologies for organic synthesis. To further deepen my engagement with automated chemical synthesis, I joined the Cronin group in 2026.
Outside the lab, I seek experiences that cannot be “encoded”. I enjoy expanding my horizons through films, art exhibitions, music, and photography, or finding inspiration while traveling and diving.
