Dominika Urbanczyk awarded category prize at Pacifichem 2025

Dominika Urbanczyk recently attended the Pacifichem 2025 conference in Honolulu, a major international meeting for chemical scientists from across the Pacific region. During the conference, Dominika presented a poster entitled “Automated API Synthesis for Accessible Drug Manufacturing,” showcasing her research on automated approaches to active pharmaceutical ingredient synthesis. She was also selected as a finalist in the Student Research Competition, which involved recording a three-minute flash talk displayed throughout the conference venue and attending a special lunch for finalists.

Dominika was announced as the winner in the Chemistry for Life Science and Health Care category, recognising the quality and impact of her research. Congratulations to Dominika on this excellent achievement.
