Accommodation and meals

Registration and scientific sessions: These will take place in the Learning Gateway (Building 8 ((8)) on the Fusehill Campus map).

Accommodation: This will be both be provided by on Fusehill Campus by the University of Cumbria for Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 September. All rooms are en suite with a shared kitchen, Internet access and are within easy walking distance of the conference venue. A map of the campus can be found here.

Room Keys: Room keys can be obtained at the start of the conference at the registration desk in the foyer of the Learning Gateway (8). Anyone arriving late or when the registration desk is unmanned can obtain their room keys from the Main Reception (1) until 18:00 or the Porters Lodge (2) at all other times. Please note, there is a £30 charge for lost keys.

MealsThe meeting starts with lunch on Wednesday September 4 and finishes with lunch on Friday September 6. Special meals can be provided and should be requested on the registration form. In general, meals (including breakfast) will be provided in the Skiddaw Dining Room (10), which will also play host to the conference dinner and Ceilidh. In addition, one evening meal may served as a BBQ  in the Calva Bar (4), details to follow. 

Car parking: There is pay and display parking on campus and all delegates must ensure they park in the pay and display areas (not the permit holder bays - these are clearly signposted).  Tickets must be displayed between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm but are not required overnight.  Please be aware that the wardens do patrol the site and can be on campus at 8 am.

Internet access: A group login will be available and details provided at the start of the meeting.
