In an article written for Times Higher Education, Prof Cronin has described his philosophy and methods for creating a positive research culture. In the article, entitled “Radical critical openness is the key to a flourishing research culture”, he describes the top ten tips that have worked for his group over the years, including encouraging openness, effective mentoring, constructive feedback and flexible working hours.
