Aims of the Workshop
The workshop aims to bring together teams of early career researchers (ECRs) from the UK and Pakistan to share research expertise and develop collaborations relevant to enabling a sustainable energy transition in Pakistan. There will be a particular focus on interdisciplinary approaches to this complex challenge, including technical/engineering solutions for renewable energy production & storage and the socio-economic and policy implications of sustainable energy in a Pakistani context.
Workshop Outline
The workshop will be held in English. Participants will be expected to upload a short summary on their research area and its relationship to the workshop theme prior to the workshop, and then to take part in interactive activities and group-discussions over each of the three days of the workshop. Seed funding will be available to support interdisciplinary UK-Pakistan collaborative research projects that arise as a result of the workshop (see the "Seed Funds" tab above).
