XD2016 distributions :
XD2016 is supplied as precompiled executables for several platforms. The functionality is identical, except that some features of XDGRAPH are unavailable in the Windows version.

The executables for the Windows platform are supplied in two formats, a console version which runs from the command line in an identical fashion to the Linux version, and the WinXD GUI version.

The executables for Mac OS X 10 are supplied for the old PowerPC processor and the newer Intel processor. They have been compiled using GFORTRAN, and are NOT statically linked (apparently Apple do not approve of static linking). If there any problems using these executables, please contact Louis Farrugia.

Registered users may download distributions for any platform. The current version is 2016.01 (dated 8th July, 2016), but executables for some platforms are still only available for previous releases.

IMPORTANT! - Users upgrading from XD2006 to XD2016 (on Windows and Linux64) should keep their licence files in a safe place, as they will continue to function for the new version. The new version for Windows (2023.01) is a recompiled version of XD2016 with no new functionality, but with an increased size in the atoms arrays.

RALCGM distributions :
RALGCM is a free program which converts between CGM (computer graphics metafiles) and other formats such as PostScript. The official RALCGM website is :
http://www.agocg.ac.uk/train/cgm/ralcgm.htm

but downloads from this site do not always work. For convenience, a full Linux RPM distribution and a Windows command line version (PostScript output only) are available here :
