Postgraduate Student
I graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Integrated Masters degree in Chemistry. During my undergraduate studies I worked in Prof Nora Kulak’s research group at the Otto-von-Guericke University, Germany. The ten months project focused on the synthesis of organic ligands and metal complexation towards applications as artificial metallonucleases and MRI contrast agents.
For my final year project, I joined the Cronin group where I worked on the modular automated ChemPU platform, improving a module for solid-phase peptide synthesis, and developing a digital script for the digitalisation of the procedure using the universal Chemical Programming Language (χDL).
