Post Doctoral Researcher
I completed my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of British Columbia (2020) with Prof. David Grierson. My research focused on the structure-activity relationship studies and rearrangements of benzisothiazole-containing anti-viral compounds. I took up my first postdoctoral research position (2021) with Prof. Jaclyn Brusso and Prof. Benoit Lessard at the University of Ottawa and prepared polyoctahedral silsesquioxanes and perfluorinated compounds for industry collaborated projects in the first year. I stayed in the Brusso Lab and worked on the syntheses of ligands for MRI contrast agents and reversible processes of heterocyclic aromatic compounds. I joined the Cronin group in Fall 2024 to work in the area of medicinal chemistry / automation / chemical intelligence.
